Progress continues to be made on various development projects in the Columbia Pike corridor. One symbol of the progress is the completion of exterior work at the Halstead building on the Pike at S. Walter Reed Dr.  As of September 30, 2009 two-thirds of the building’s luxury apartments are rented, and more new residents are moving in each month.
